For three weeks in late 2018, AtypicalContent travelled throughout northeast Brazil. We visited, rode, and swam in Fortaleza, Icaraizinho, Jericoacoara, Atins, the Lencois Maranhenses, and São Luis. Below are some of our pictures and video.
Located in the Preguica River’s estuary, Atins provides great access to the Lencois Maranhenses. It also has great kiteboarding.
Lencois Maranhenses
The Lencois Maranhenses covers 155,000 hectares, 600 square miles, in northeast Brazil. It’s completely made of white sand and clear blue water and its beauty is difficult to describe.
